This tool uses a straightforward, market-based pricing model:

Market Baseline Rates: We start with industry-standard hourly rates based on your service type and experience level.
Client Type Adjustment: Different clients have different budgets and expectations. We apply appropriate adjustments: Friend/Family (0.75x), Individual (1.0x), Small Business (1.15x), Corporate (1.4x).
Calculate Total Hours: Your estimated hours plus any meeting time or discovery/research hours you add in Advanced Options.
Your Base Price: We multiply your hourly rate by total hours. This becomes your Standard price—the main number you should use.
Three Pricing Tiers: We also show Budget (85% of standard) and Premium (125% of standard). These give you negotiation flexibility—you might use Budget pricing for friends or repeat clients, and Premium for rush projects or high-value work. The tiers are pricing strategies, not different calculations.

📍 Note on Location: Rates can vary significantly by geographic location. Our baseline rates represent US national averages. You may need to adjust up or down based on your local market—major cities typically command 15-30% higher rates, while smaller markets may be 10-20% lower.

Key point: The Standard tier is your true calculated rate (hours × hourly rate). Budget and Premium are optional ranges to give you flexibility when quoting.
